16 soldiers cutting loose on their day off

Being a soldier is tough. Apart from being away from their families, soldiers also have to risk their lives just to keep everyone in the country safe. They have to miss important family celebrations and even their children’s milestones. At times, they may need to stop talking to their loved ones while they are away for deployment.

Despite that, our soldiers are still able to see the positive side of things. They are able to cope with their situations by relying on their fellow soldiers and their awesome sense of humor.

1. Taking awesome photos

This soldier doesn’t just know how to have fun. Based on this photo, he’s quite good at at taking photos, too.

2. Having each other’s back

Protecting each other and having each other’s back doesn’t only apply to wars. It’s also applicable during their free time when they want to have fun.

There’s probably nothing better than playing some competitive games during one’s day off. It’s not just a way to have fun, but it can also serve as an exciting way to work those muscles and teamwork.

4. In Afghanistan

A loved one was worried about how his cousin was doing in Afghanistan. This was the photo she received. It’s safe to say that this soldier is looking good on his deployment.

5. Being resourceful

Soldiers celebrate Christmas, too. However, since they don’t have the usual holiday decorations, they have to be resourceful. Looking at this Christmas tree, I’d say that they nailed it.

6. When your group is a Bieber fan

This group has an awesome sense of humor. Who would have thought that they’re loyal Justin Bieber fans?

This soldier tried testing the new fire-resistant pants. Looking at his reaction, I don’t think it was what he expected.

Soldiers are quite competitive. Even if it’s just a game, they’ll still give their best

This is one way to show affection without running the risk of getting infected. And yes, it looks extremely awkward.

I know soldiers are brave. I just didn’t expect them to be this brave. Most people would find the idea of getting inside that machine intimidating.

Kids aren’t the only ones who enjoy blowing out bubbles. It’s a fun activity even for soldiers.

I’m not sure if that soldier was able to spot that tiny area of grass. It’s just nearly the size of his foot.

If you’ve seen figures of Hindu deities, you’d agree that this team nailed the look. Those guns replicate the deities’ hands.

I’m not sure how these two soldiers were able to do this. Whether it’s a trick or just excellent photo editing skills, they’ve done an awesome job. Harry Potter fans must be proud of them

16. A huge trap

I know soldiers can make traps really well. Despite that, seeing them make a mousetrap this size is still quite impressive.
